OVERVIEW
Designed as a “go anywhere” world cruiser, the 43 is a unique vessel in many ways. A smaller version of the popular 46 design, the 43 has been set up for ease of handling by a couple. The transom has been designed to facilitate scuba diving and there is access to the built in dive compressor through an aft cockpit hatch. Whitlock “direct drive” steering equipment provides fingertip control.
As with most Waterline Yachts, a watertight bulkhead separates the forward cabin from the huge sail locker. At the forward end of the sail locker is a self-draining chain locker that will easily stow ample ground tackle appropriate for offshore cruising.
INTERIOR DESIGN
The Waterline 43 interior glows with the warmth of solid cherry wood. A very special feature is the built-in Yamaha electric piano that slides out from a cabinet below the forward cabin berth.
Double doors open this area to the salon for entertaining guests seated in the spacious salon. Across from the proven sea-going galley the curved nav station seat keeps the navigator comfortable.
